The Project

When Neyo’s Barbers opened its brand-new premises at Locks Heath Shopping Centre, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for customers and staff was an important part of bringing the owner’s vision to life.

A well-established and highly regarded local business, Neyo’s Barbers has built a loyal customer base and an excellent reputation within the community.

The new shop features a striking contemporary interior, combining black finishes, elegant gold detailing and distinctive geometric ceiling lighting.

With such attention given to the overall appearance, the air conditioning system needed to deliver more than just effective temperature control. It also had to complement the shop’s carefully considered design.

JNG Services was delighted to be involved in this exciting new chapter for a respected local business.

The Challenge

A busy barbershop presents particular challenges when it comes to maintaining a comfortable indoor environment.

With customers arriving throughout the day, multiple people occupying the space and heat generated by lighting and electrical equipment, maintaining consistent temperatures is essential.

The system needed to provide effective cooling during the warmer months and reliable heating throughout winter, ensuring a pleasant environment for both customers and staff.

Aesthetics were equally important. The air conditioning unit needed to blend naturally into the premium interior without detracting from the overall design.

Timing was another key consideration.

Although the shop had already opened for business, the installation needed to be completed ahead of its official opening celebration.

This required careful planning and coordination to ensure the work was completed within the agreed timeframe while respecting the needs of an operational business.

Our Solution

Following discussions with the owner, we selected a 3.5kW Midea Solstice split air conditioning system in black.

The system was chosen to provide year-round heating and cooling while complementing the distinctive appearance of the new premises.

Its sleek black finish blends seamlessly with the dark wall panelling and premium detailing, creating an installation that feels like a natural part of the interior rather than an afterthought.

The indoor unit was positioned neatly within the shop, while the outdoor condenser was installed on the flat roof using suitable mounting supports.

Throughout the project, particular attention was given to achieving a tidy, professional finish and ensuring the installation complemented the quality of the surrounding space.

With the official opening celebration approaching, we worked to the agreed schedule, completing the installation in time for this important milestone.

The Finished Result

The completed installation provides Neyo’s Barbers with a stylish and practical heating and cooling solution designed around the requirements of its new premises.

The 3.5kW Midea Solstice system offers effective cooling during warmer weather and heating during the colder months, helping maintain a comfortable environment throughout the year.

Its understated black finish complements the shop’s interior, demonstrating that commercial air conditioning can deliver practical performance without compromising aesthetics.

Most importantly, the installation was completed ahead of the official opening celebration, ensuring the new premises were ready to welcome customers for the occasion.
